Afterschool Program Counselor/Coach Jobs in Hurst at NTA Taekwondo – Colleyville
Title: After School Coach (K-5) – Youth Sports & Enrichment -Hurst, TX
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, plus bonus and commission opportunities
Job type: Part-time, Monday to Friday, approximately 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, minimum 20 hours per week

NTA’s Taekwondo After School Program in Hurst is growing, and we are hiring an After School Coach to lead sports, games, and enrichment activities for K-5th grade students. If you are the person kids remember years later as the coach who believed in them, we want to meet you.
What you will do
- Lead and supervise groups of K-5th grade students in a safe, positive, structured environment
- Coach sports and active games: Martial Arts, soccer, basketball, flag football, dodgeball, and PE-style activities
- Lead enrichment activities that match your strengths: arts and crafts, dance, cheer, theater, or music
- Support homework and age-appropriate educational activities
- Follow Texas child care minimum standards and NTA safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents and teammates
What we require
These requirements come from the Texas Minimum Standards for School-Age Programs (26 TAC Chapter 744) and NTA policy:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or high school certificate of coursework completion
- Pass the background checks required by Texas HHSC Child Care Regulation and complete the state pre-employment affidavit
- Complete paid, state-required orientation and training before working with children, and 15 hours of paid annual training after that (we schedule it and pay for it)
- At least 1 year of experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camps, childcare, or similar)
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone or computer for team communication
Bonus points if you have
- Martial arts, coaching, teaching, or camp counselor experience
- Current pediatric CPR and first aid certification
- Skills in dance, cheer, theater, music, or arts and crafts
- Bilingual English/Spanish
