Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Care Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful activities, and support their academic and personal growth. This role requires a commitment to nurturing young minds and creating an inclusive atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity. Hours are from 2-5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Create a supportive environment that promotes student participation and collaboration.
- Manage behavior effectively, employing strategies for behavior management to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Provide individualized support to students as needed, including tutoring or additional assistance.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience working with children.
- Sports coaching or involvement in athletic programs.
- Tutoring or providing academic support to students.
- Experience working in camp settings or leading youth activities.
- Proven experience working with children and managing diverse learning needs.
