Activity Leader – International Student Camp (Paris)

We are looking for enthusiastic Activity Leaders to join our international student programme in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people from around the world, delivering engaging activities while ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage, motivate, and supervise students throughout the activity programme.
- Ensure student wellbeing, safety, and enjoyment at all times.
- Be approachable and supportive, acting as a trusted point of contact for students.
- Plan and deliver a range of daytime and evening activities suitable for different ages and interests.
- Lead activities such as sports tournaments, games, arts and crafts, cultural visits, and excursions.
- Maintain vigilance and ensure all students are accounted for during activities and trips.
- Follow all camp safeguarding and safety procedures.
- Support with student arrivals, departures, airport transfers, and orientation sessions.
- Assist the centre team with administrative tasks where required.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and positivity to the team each day.
Safeguarding & Compliance (France – ACM Context)
This role operates within the French framework for Accueil Collectif de Mineurs (ACM). Activity Leaders must support full compliance with supervision requirements, safeguarding standards, and duty of care during both residential supervision and off-site activities.
A strong commitment to student welfare and safe programme delivery is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ English and French language ability at CEFR B2 level or above
✔ Genuine interest in working with young people
✔ Ability to adapt quickly and remain flexible in a busy camp environment
✔ Confidence leading and engaging large groups of students
✔ Strong communication and presentation skills
✔ Ability to supervise activities and remain active throughout the day
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Desirable
⭐ BAFA qualification (Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur)
⭐ BAFA trainees currently completing certification
⭐ Experience in education, sport, arts, or youth work
⭐ Coaching or activity leadership experience
⭐ First Aid certification (PSC1 or equivalent)
⭐ Previous experience working at summer schools, camps, or with international students
