Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Karnataka, India. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing periodic financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additional duties include reconciling bank statements, reviewing budgets, and assisting with audits. The Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with experience in data entry and reconciliation
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and audit practices
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a financial team
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CA are an advantage
- Prior experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is a plus
